LADIES, SHUDDER OFF THE SOCIAL PRESSURE AND BE YOURSELF

In our patriarchal society, there are numerous challenges women face that men simply don't have to deal with — after all, that's what happens when you live in a culture that's structured to benefit one gender over another.
As much progress as the fight for gender equality has accomplished over the course of decades, women's rights still have a long way to go.
We live in a world that teaches girls to judge their worth based on looks rather than abilities. And if they possess the abilities, they still get a message to look good.
In a society where eating disorders are on the rise, women regularly have to deal with body image anxiety throughout their daily lives, regardless of their age. Even after delivering a baby, they are expected to look good as soon as possible.
Even in the modern day, we're expected to force ourselves to listen all the shits of the so called society such street harassment, media representation, purdah system, discrimination in the workplace and many other societal upbringing.
When you're a woman, there's enormous pressure to perform well, because everything you do reflects on your gender. I really don't know how just this is.
It's a sad truth that as soon as women become associated in something, it automatically loses status in society's eyes. For instance when more women enter an occupation, it frequently loses respect. Despite progress, women still bear heavier load than men in balancing work and family.(According to PEW research)
In many ethnic minority communities, the pressure to give birth to son instead of daughter is very high.
I really wonder, when will we stop putting pressure on women to be perfect? When will we stop judging them based on their looks rather than their abilities? When will we stop expecting every woman to embody a perfect blend of sporty, pretty, popular and smart? Will we ever let women be good enough?
But the question remains: Are women truly thriving as never before? The answer is both yes and no. Yes, women certainly have unprecedented opportunities available to them. Yes, many are walking through open doors that were closed to previous generations. Yet an insidious pressure has crept in alongside these opportunities.
